Andy Williams

Andy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree, is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) and holds a Certificate in Environmental Management.

He began work as a surveyor with Finnamore & Partners Ltd., Halifax in 1984. He became an independent adjuster in 1990 and since that time has worked for various International Adjusting firms as a Senior Technical Adjuster.

During his adjusting career, Andy has accumulated considerable experience as an International Loss Adjuster on numerous large commercial and marine construction projects (including DSU) as well as upstream/downstream energy property. He has developed significant expertise in the investigation and adjustment of environmental impairment losses involving hazardous materials as well as relevant techniques for effective site remediation. He has experience in managing offshore energy, marine and aviation hull, liability and cargo claims. Andy is also one of the leading specialists in Canada for Aquaculture loss investigation and adjustment.

Andy enjoys time at the cottage with his family where he can be found floating on the lake and boating. An avid skier, on water or snow he relaxes and unwinds by staying active outdoors.

Mike Sieber

Mike joined the insurance profession in 1988 as a staff adjuster and later became a Property Specialist and Physical Damage Supervisor with a national Insurer.

In 2000 Mike began his independent adjusting career with an international independent company and gained a broad range of experience in commercial property, casualty, construction, marine and non-marine assignments.

Mike has a solid reputation as a multi-line adjuster and is the control adjuster for one of the largest commercial construction companies in the Atlantic Provinces. Mike is committed to providing his clients with a very high standard of service.

Mike graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) and is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) as accredited by the Insurance Institute of Canada.

When not working Mike likes spending time with family and friends and watching sporting events. Mike also likes to travel south in the winter.

Greg Potten

Greg has been an independent adjuster since 1998. He is a graduate of The University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. He holds a Chartered Insurance Professional designation from The Insurance Institute of Canada and a Chartered Loss Adjuster designation from The Canadian Independent Adjusters Association. He is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator as well as a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators.

Greg’s focus has been primarily in commercial property, environmental, mining, aquaculture and casualty claims. He is currently the President of The Canadian Independent Adjusters Association for the NB/PEI region and holds a Canadia Risk Management (CRM) designation.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys international travel, wine tasting and outdoor activities such as soccer, golf and running.

Gary Ellis

Gary began his career as an independent adjuster in 1975 after graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He has worked for national and international independent adjusting firms his entire career.

While earning his Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designation (FCIP) in 1982, he became intrigued with Marine Law. He subsequently studied the Marine Insurance courses in the then AIIC program and completed the Marine and Environmental Law Program at Dalhousie University. In 1988 he completed courses to become a member of the Arbitrators’ Institute of Canada. In 1995 Gary obtained his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation and subsequently became a Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (RF) in 1997. In 2003 Gary became a Fellow of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association (FCIAA) and was successful in completing exams as a Fellow Charter Loss Adjuster (FCLA) in 2004.

Gary has extensive experience in Course of Construction and Wrap-up Liability claims and is the control adjuster on major construction projects. He also has extensive experience in commercial and industrial claims as well as professional and general liability.

In his spare time Gary can be found in his garden or fishing off the North Shore of PEI. Rumor is an apiary is in the making. Tai Chi and cribbage tend to fill the winter evenings.

Kelly Muise

Kelly began her adjusting career in 2008 and since then has gained experience both as an independent adjuster and a staff adjuster with a large national Insurer. Kelly’s work has spanned across many lines of business including property, casualty and commercial with claims ranging from small homeowners’ to total fire losses and catastrophic injuries.

Kelly graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She also possesses an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management from NSCC. She has obtained her Chartered Insurance Professional designation from The Insurance Institute of Canada, and holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.

Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, sketching and running.

Mike Bennett

Mike began his career as a Claims Representative in 2002 for a National Insurer. Mike joined AMG Claims Inc. as a Loss Adjuster in 2016.

During his adjusting career, Mike worked on numerous Commercial Property losses, Errors and Omissions Claims, Directors and Officers Claims, Commercial General Liability, and on Equipment Break Down Losses. Mike has a significant amount of experience investigating Commercial Property losses and Commercial General Liability.

Mike has been very involved in the Insurance Industry and promoting education. Mike is outgoing (2014 – 2016) President of the Canadian Insurance Claim Managers Association for the Bluenose Chapter.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Business with a Major in Accounting, is a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), and holds a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.

Although responding to a claim is Mike’s primary focus, Mike utilizes his Risk Management Skills to prevent similar losses going forward.

Mike is the proud father of three wonderful children and when he is not adjusting claims you will find him at a rink, gymnasium, swimming pool or a dance studio.
